It is October already, time for beautiful leaves, cooler weather, Octoberfest and Halloween. It is also that time of year that we pause to consider God's blessings and our response while Bethlehem's Stewardship Committee presents the Fall Stewardship Campaign.
As a vital part of the vibrant Bethlehem family, you give generously of your time, your talents, and your treasure in response to the many blessings received from our Lord. The Stewardship Committee and our council thanks you for making your annual commitment and for following through during the year.
During the first four Sundays of October, brief video messages will be shared by the Stewardship Committee during all worship services. You are in for a treat as this year we include some new faces presented in a fun and meaningful format. Please take a moment at the beginning of each service to watch and listen to those messages. If you happen to miss one you can visit the new website www.belc.org then choose the Livestream button to find videos from prior services.
Please be on the lookout for a mailing in early October containing everything you need to prayerfully make your decision and document your commitment. Sharing your commitment is a huge help to our council and our treasurer as we look ahead to 2023 and plan our budget to be presented to you in the annual report.
So, as you enjoy traditional October activities such as a hayride to pick pumpkins or a pumpkin-spiced beverage, or the good food and fellowship that is Bethlehem's Oktoberfest,
please make part of your tradition reviewing the materials and messages above. Please complete and return your commitment sheet on Commitment Sunday, October 23, or mail it into the office
